Job Description
Entech Medical Staffing has a need for a Surgical Scheduler. This will be located with a client in Troy. It is full time temporary to start with potential for hire based on performance, attendance, etc.
Job Duties:
Schedule surgical procedures for multiple providers in a specialty practice.
Obtain authorizations for surgery and testing required for imaging procedures
Call patients to gather information and answer questions
Document confidential patient information into the EMR system
Qualifications:
HS Diploma
Min. 2-3 years of previous surgical scheduling in a busy practice
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and work cooperative as a team
Willing to learn
Familiarity with EMR, EPIC is a plus
Must have excellent attendance
Pay Rate Range: $20-$23
