Temporary Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

We are currently seeking two Temporary Maintenance Technicians to support facility maintenance operations at a secure government installation in the Colorado Springs area. This short-term assignment is ideal for individuals with general maintenance experience who are dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a structured environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform minor maintenance repairs and general facility upkeep
• Complete basic carpentry, painting, patching, and repair tasks
• Assist with preventive maintenance activities
• Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all site-specific safety procedures and work protocols
• Complete assigned tasks and work orders in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, facilities, construction, handyman, or related experience preferred
• Ability to use common hand and power tools
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the shift
• Must be able to pass a military background screening and meet all requirements necessary to gain access to a United States Space Force installation
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Work Environment

This position may require working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Candidates should be comfortable performing physical labor and standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday.
