Forklift Driver / Material Handler (Graveyard Shift)

Location: Clackamas, Oregon
Shift: Graveyard Shift, 11:00 PM – 6:30 AM, occasional over time
Pay: $22.00 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Driver / Material Handler to join our warehouse team in Clackamas, Oregon. This position is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse, including unloading containers, staging inventory, organizing storage areas, and supporting daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is a team player who is willing to assist other departments, including the recycling crew, as business needs require.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·         Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

·         Unload inbound containers, trailers, and shipments.

·         Move, stage, and store materials throughout the warehouse.

·         Load outbound shipments according to company procedures.

·         Organize and keep warehouse areas clean, safe, and orderly.

·         Inspect forklifts and equipment before each shift and report maintenance issues.

·         Follow all warehouse safety policies and OSHA guidelines.

·         Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.

·         Support the recycling crew when needed, including sorting, moving, and processing recyclable materials.

·         Work collaboratively with warehouse personnel to meet production and shipping goals.

Qualifications

·         Previous forklift operating experience required.

·         Valid forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification upon hire).

·         Experience unloading containers and handling palletized materials.

·         Ability to work independently and maintain productivity during overnight hours.

·         Strong attention to safety and detail.

·         Reliable attendance and punctuality.

·         Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

·         Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

·         Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.

·         Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

·         Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment for extended periods.
