Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Davenport, IA

Duration: 12 months Contract

Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous
  improvement projects focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Lead and manage small to moderate scope capital projects.
• Establish and maintain layouts, labor standards, methods, and sequence of events for the Articulated Dump Truck (ADT) assembly line.
• Analyze, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for current assembly operations.
• Identify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvement ideas for ADT assembly operations.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience with manufacturing processes, quality, tooling,
  preventative maintenance, and facilities.
• Experience with engineering tools and manufacturing execution systems.
• Proven ability to lead and implement projects in a fast-paced manufacturing
  environment.
• Strong communication skills for working with operators, peers, and leadership.
• Self-motivated and able to execute tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong personal accountability, follow-through, and ability to foster a positive,
  engaged team environment.

Preferred Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology discipline or equivalent related work experience (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering preferred).
