Jobletics Pro is hiring Maintenance Workers in Charlotte, NC responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience with machinery and tools, and a safety-first mindset. This is a physically active role supporting production teams and ensuring equipment runs efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical systems and equipment (e.g., motors, conveyors, pneumatic tools)
- Disassemble machinery to identify and replace defective components
- Adjust and repair functional parts and control instruments
- Operate tools and machines, including lathe, grinder, and drill press to fabricate parts
- Install mechanical parts and equipment as needed
- Lubricate and clean components to prevent wear and tear
- Perform test runs on repaired equipment to verify functionality
- Maintain and repair electrical components as necessary
- Initiate purchase orders for parts and equipment
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and support monthly preventative checks
- Comply with TS16949 and safety standards
- Train and mentor junior maintenance staff (Levels 2 and 3)
Qualifications
- An associate’s degree or technical school certification is preferred
- 1+ year experience in maintenance or mechanical repair (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Familiarity with welding, brazing, and soldering
- Experience working around metal stamping presses
- Forklift and crane operator certifications (Levels 1–2); Journeyman Card or 8+ years of experience preferred for Level 3
- Ability to read safety documents, blueprints, and maintenance manuals
- Basic math and algebra skills for measurements and calculations
- Comfortable using preventative maintenance software (e.g., Plex)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
