Job Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Bilingual Medical Assistant to support both Gastroenterology (GI) and Urology departments at a healthcare facility in New Windsor, NY. This role plays a critical part in patient care, working closely with providers to support clinical workflows and ensure a positive patient experience.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on patient care and working in a fast-paced medical environment.

Bilingual Medical Assistant Responsibilities:

• Room patients and prepare them for examinations
• Record vital signs and document patient information accurately
• Assist providers during exams and procedures as needed
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, and specimen collection
• Prepare and maintain patient charts and electronic records
• Communicate clearly with patients in both English and Spanish
• Support coordination of care and assist with patient follow-up
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
• Experience in specialty practices such as GI, Urology, or internal medicine is a plus
• Strong clinical skills including vitals, charting, and patient prep
• Ability to perform or assist with lab work, EKGs, and basic procedures
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused demeanor
