Electrical Maintenance Technician

Position Overview

A-O-K Maintenance Inc is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. Must have a broad skillset with the ability and willingness to perform a variety of commercial facilities maintenance tasks including electrical work, lighting, plumbing and other handyman projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment and components
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform timely repairs
• Install wiring, fixtures and electrical components in compliance with codes
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical diagrams
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members on facility projects
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and repairs

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an electrical maintenance technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints
• Familiarity with local, state and national electrical codes
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license required

• Experience in commercial or industrial maintenance environments
