Medical Scheduler

Position Summary
Our busy medical office is seeking a detail-oriented, enthusiastic Medical Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate is a dependable team player with strong critical-thinking abilities, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Previous medical office experience is helpful but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients professionally and courteously
• Maintain accurate patient scheduling records and demographic information
• Coordinate appointment availability with providers and clinical staff
• Verify patient information and update records as needed
• Assist with patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service
• Follow office policies and procedures to ensure efficient patient flow
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
