Position Summary

The Community Content & Engagement Manager will be responsible for planning, creating, editing, publishing, and analyzing social media content across all major platforms while actively engaging with our communities both online and in person.

This position combines content creation, community engagement, event marketing, and social media strategy into one exciting role.

The ideal candidate is comfortable behind a camera, in front of a camera, and networking with local businesses and community members.


Responsibilities


Content Creation

  • Film engaging short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
  • Photograph projects, employees, community events, and behind-the-scenes moments
  • Edit videos and graphics for social media
  • Develop monthly content calendars
  • Write engaging captions that reflect our brand voice
  • Stay on top of current social media trends
  • Produce educational, entertaining, and community-focused content


Social Media Management

  • Manage Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other emerging platforms
  • Schedule and publish content consistently
  • Monitor comments and direct messages
  • Respond professionally and promptly to followers
  • Track analytics and provide monthly performance reports
  • Recommend strategies to increase reach, engagement, and followers


Community Engagement

  • Attend community events, chamber events, networking functions, sponsorships, golf tournaments, and local festivals
  • Attend business development events and capture content throughout the day
  • Build relationships with local businesses and community organizations
  • Engage with other businesses, partners, and community leaders on social media through comments, shares, collaborations, and networking
  • Coordinate giveaways, contests, and online campaigns


Brand Storytelling

  • Capture customer success stories
  • Interview employees and clients
  • Showcase company culture
  • Highlight restoration projects before, during, and after completion
  • Help position our company as the trusted restoration expert in our markets


Qualifications

  • Experience managing business social media accounts
  • Strong photography and videography skills
  • Experience editing video using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva, Final Cut, or similar software
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Comfortable appearing on camera and directing others on camera
  • Outgoing personality with strong networking skills
  • Organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience growing social media accounts
  • Experience running paid social campaigns
  • Knowledge of analytics and reporting
  • Experience in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field
