Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as excavators and trimmers safely and efficiently
• Support the installation of hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures
• Perform lawn care duties including aeration, fertilization, and seasonal snow plowing to keep properties pristine year-round
• Conduct tree trimming and tree care activities to promote safety and aesthetic appeal
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and installing components as needed
• Support general gardening activities such as planting flowers, shrubs, and maintaining horticultural standards
• Follow safety protocols during all tasks to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members

Requirements

• Prior experience or familiarity with landscaping, lawn care, or construction environments is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
• Mechanical knowledge or experience operating equipment like excavators or power tools is a plus
• Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape maintenance techniques is advantageous
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
• Valid driver’s license preferred for operating certain equipment or assisting with project logistics
