Day Shift General Labor

Our client, a leading food production company specializing in jarred products, is seeking a Day Shift General Labor to join their team. As a Day Shift General Labor, you will be part of the production support team, ensuring the quality and safety of the products while maintaining efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Operator 

Location: Goldsboro, NC

Pay Range: $16.24 - $17.24 depending on shift 

Shift: Day and Night shift available (Monday through Saturday)

What's the Job?

• Stand by moving conveyor and assist with placing product into jars or lifting product from conveyor to finish filling jars
• Inspect product for foreign objects, broken pickles, and defective glass jars
• Monitor product being discharged from pasteurizers for deviations from standards
• Remove defective or broken jars from the line and dispose of them safely
• Transport empty jars to the glass line and participate in team meetings and training sessions

What's Needed?

• No specific educational requirements; good eye/hand coordination needed
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions
• Physical ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally and handle objects with precision
• Attention to detail and safety awareness
• Willingness to follow written and verbal instructions
