Woodville Pellets is seeking safe, reliable, and professional CDL Class A Drivers to join our transportation team. Drivers operate newer automatic Volvo tractors hauling wood pellets between our manufacturing facility in Woodville, TX and our terminal facility in Port Arthur, TX.

This is a local, home-daily position with a dedicated route and no overnight travel. Drivers enjoy predictable work, modern equipment, and the opportunity to work for a stable and growing company.

What You'll Do

• Safely transport wood pellets between Woodville and Port Arthur.
• Complete assigned deliveries while following company and DOT requirements.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and transportation documentation.
• Communicate professionally with terminal personnel, production staff, and fellow drivers.
• Report equipment concerns, safety issues, or maintenance needs promptly.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, Port Authority, and company safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean and professional vehicle and work environment.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements.
• Commitment to safe driving practices and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating tractor-trailers in industrial, local, or regional environments.
• Experience with automatic transmission commercial vehicles.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Working Conditions

Drivers operate in varying weather conditions and industrial environments, including manufacturing and port facilities. Candidates must be able to safely enter and exit equipment, perform vehicle inspections, and work in compliance with all PPE requirements.
