X-Ray Technologist / Radiologic Technologist

Total Compensation range: $55k-$75k. Compensation will be based on experience, credentials, and overall qualifications.

Outpatient Orthopedic & Musculoskeletal Practice | New Jersey

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented X-Ray Technologist to become an integral part of our client’s growing outpatient healthcare team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with physicians, clinical staff, and patients in a fast-paced orthopedic and specialty care environment where quality, safety, and patient experience are top priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Ensure all imaging equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning safely.
• Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while maximizing comfort.
• Educate patients regarding imaging procedures and address questions or concerns to create a positive experience.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and utilize protective measures to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
• Maintain an organized imaging suite and ensure equipment and work areas remain clean and compliant.
• Monitor inventory levels for radiology supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
• Protect patient privacy and maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with providers, medical assistants, and administrative staff to support efficient patient flow.
• Assist with additional clinical or administrative duties as requested to support practice operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Active New Jersey Radiologic Technologist License required.
• Current ARRT Certification (R.T. (R)) required.
• Previous experience in an outpatient clinic, orthopedic practice, imaging center, or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of radiographic positioning, imaging procedures, and radiation safety principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide exceptional patient service while working efficiently in a busy environment.
• Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.
