Job Description
Our client is seeking Scenic Finish Carpenters with woodworking skills to build scenery for theme parks.
This is not an outdoor carpentry job for construction carpenters, such as form, rough, trim, and frame carpenters.
Work includes these materials: Hardwoods, Soft Woods, Plywood, MDF, Foams, Plastics, Laminates, and Solid Surfaces. Skill sets needed include reading blueprints, creating cut lists, using proper joinery, safe use of shop tools, and understanding fit and finish.
Common tools would be: Table saw, Band saw, Miter saws, Jig Saws, Routers, Nailers/Staplers, Drills, Tape Measure.
They work on an alternative work schedule. Monday-Thursday 10-hour days, with Friday as a required overtime day when needed.
