Pay: $25–$30/hour (Based on Experience)
Per Diem: $100/day for qualified travelers
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (Hours may vary based on project needs; overtime available)

Job Overview

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics for commercial and industrial projects across South Carolina. The initial assignment will be located in Anderson, SC and is expected to last approximately two months, with opportunities to continue on projects throughout the state.

Candidates must have experience installing industrial-sized ductwork, including duct systems up to 36" square, and be proficient with TDC duct connection systems. This position involves the layout, fabrication, and installation of large-scale sheet metal duct systems for mechanical and HVAC applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Install new ductwork for commercial and industrial mechanical/HVAC systems
• Assemble, install, and modify sheet metal ductwork and related components
• Install and connect duct systems utilizing TDC duct connection systems
• Perform layout, measuring, and field fabrication
• Work with industrial-sized ductwork up to 36" square
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layout specifications
• Install hangers, supports, dampers, and related hardware
• Seal, secure, and insulate duct systems per project specifications
• Safely operate hand tools and jobsite equipment
• Work from ladders, lifts, and scaffolding as required
• Follow all jobsite safety procedures and company policies
• Travel to project sites throughout South Carolina as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of sheet metal installation experience
• Must have experience with TDC duct connection systems
• Must have experience installing industrial-sized ductwork up to 36" square
• Experience installing new mechanical duct systems
• Commercial and/or industrial sheet metal experience preferred
• Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, safety-focused, and professional attitude
• Ability to travel and work flexible schedules when required
