HireLevel is looking for a Delivery Driver (Class E) in St. Charles, Mo.
Job Title: Delivery Driver (Class E)
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Location: St. Charles
Pay:
- $21-22/hour—Class E
- $23-24/hour---CDL
Driver Incentive Program (eligible after 90 days)- chance to earn $100 extra per week.

Responsibilities of the Delivery Driver:
Delivery & Customer Service
- Deliver products to customers within designated delivery windows while ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
- Provide excellent customer service during each delivery interaction.
- Ensure proper handling of goods to maintain product quality and safety.
Safety & Compliance
- Operate delivery vehicles in compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
- Follow company standards related to food safety, sanitation, allergen control, and food defense protocols.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures at all times.
Vehicle & Equipment Management
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure vehicles are in safe working conditions.
- Maintain cleanliness of delivery trucks and equipment.
- Return all pallets, milk crates, and equipment after deliveries.
Reporting & Accountability
- Promptly report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues to management.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.
- Support operational efficiency by following assigned routes and schedules.
Requirements of the Delivery Driver:
Licensing & Certifications
- Valid Class E/Chauffeur’s License (Required)
- Air Brakes endorsement (Required)
Experience & Skills
- Previous delivery or driving experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and route navigation.
- Ability to meet delivery timelines and mange workload independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, load and unload product as needed.
- Capable or working in a physically active role that involves regular driving, loading and unloading.
