Machine Operator - Now Hiring

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in knife sharpening and industrial packaging, is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be an essential part of the production process, supporting the warehouse operations and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator / Packer

Location: Hopewell Junction, NY

Pay Range: $18.00/hr

Shift: 3:00 PM - 1:45 AM, Monday through Thursday
 

What's the Job?

• Operate, maintain, and monitor automated or manual equipment to sharpen, hone, and finish knives and blades to specified standards.
• Set up machinery, load and unload workpieces, and perform quality control checks to ensure precision and sharpness.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to safety and production protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Scan and check inventory, prepare knives for sharpening, and manage product movement through conveyor systems.
• Assist in cleaning and preparing products for shipment, ensuring timely delivery to customers.

What's Needed?

• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Required credentials: 100041, 100065, 100067.
