Carpet cleaning technician - Full-time

Job Summary
Stanley Steemer is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide professional carpet, upholstery, tile, and hard-surface cleaning services for residential and commercial customers. Technicians represent the company in customers' homes and businesses, delivering high-quality service while maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpet, upholstery, tile, grout, and hard-surface cleaning services.
• Operate company vehicles and cleaning equipment safely.
• Inspect customer areas and recommend appropriate cleaning solutions.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding services, pricing, and expectations.
• Maintain equipment, vehicles, and supplies in good working condition.
• Follow company safety procedures and industry standards.
• Complete service documentation accurately and on time.
• Deliver excellent customer service to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous cleaning, restoration, or service-industry experience is a plus but not required.
