Integrity Trade Services is IMMEDIATELY hiring for Assemblers and Machine operators in Romeoville, IL

Responsibilities:
ASSEMBLERS AND MACHINE OPERATORS

SUMMARY
The Machine Operator II is responsible for the operation of various machines, including automated processes, and the inspection and packaging of the finished product.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate at least two major pieces of equipment used in the production process including, but not limited to: cast-molding, deburring, polish, CNC, and main assembly machines utilizing torque tools
  • Conduct secondary operations in the production process, including stretch wrapping, laser etching, TOX machine use, label application, cutting operation, assembly, bagging, bailing, and shredding
  • Utilize an HMI/MIU to adjust and optimize processes
  • Perform troubleshooting and routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
  • Report production data on tracking sheets; use verification logs and Funnel Cloud to accurately count, pack, report scrap, wrap pallets, and change work orders
  • Accurately complete all required job paperwork for assigned tasks
  • Inspect parts to meet quality standards; notify the quality department, production lead, and the production supervisor of any defects and/or substandard parts
  • Read and comprehend the product brief, packaging instruction, and alerts to ensure parts are produced to correct standards
  • Ensure all materials, tools, and equipment are replenished and staged properly for job completion
  • Record and load scrap material to designated scrap bins/carts
  • Train new and existing team members on functions of the production area. Share knowledge and best practices to help aid efficiency, productivity, and safety
  • Perform all job functions in compliance with safety guidelines and company policies/procedures
  • Work a full-time schedule; work overtime as business demands including extended hours and/or weekends
  • Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition, clean and maintain equipment
  • Communicate clearly and work as part of a team
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-year prior experience in a manufacturing environment
  • High degree of attention and awareness required to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Experience using basic hand and power tools, and familiarity with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic tools
  • Team player with a good attitude and strong work ethic
  • Dependable with an excellent attendance record
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand verbal and written work orders/instructions in English
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

  • Ability to stand /remain in a stationary position for the duration of the shift
  • Frequently position self on top or beneath machines while operating various handheld devices and tools
  • Ability to ascend/descend steps
  • Must have a good sense of balance and coordination
  • Frequently move up to 15 pounds; occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
  • Frequently move pallets with a manual lifting device or powered industrial vehicle
  • Occasionally required to use a knife and various hand tools
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including but not limited to safety glasses, safety gloves, and hearing protection

  • Exposure to loud noises and fluctuating indoor/outdoor temperatures

  • IL Paid Leave for All Workers
An employee that works in Illinois is entitled to accrue and use up to 40 hours of paid leave during a 12 month period or a pro rata number of hours of paid leave under the provisions of the State of Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act.  The 12 month accrual period is considered to begin for new employees on the employees first day of employment.  An employee is entitled to begin using earned and accrued paid leave time 90 calendar days after commencement of employment.  Paid leave under this Act shall accrue at the rate of one hour of paid leave for every 40 hours worked up to 40 hours of paid leave
  • 401(k) with company match for eligible employees.

Eligibility:  Active employees with one year of work and during that one year has completed 1,000 hours of service and is at least 21 years of age.  Entry dates into the 401(k) are:  1/1 or 7/1 following the one year of service and completing 1,000 hours of work.
The company will match 100% of the first 3% of the employee contribution.  As well as, match 50% of the next 2% of the employee contribution. (The company contribution/match maximum is 4%)
