Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility in Vermont
  • Previous experience conducting psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and behavior interventions in a school setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), IEP development, and federal/state education regulations
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Compassionate, creative, and student-centered approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and interpret psychological evaluations to identify students’ strengths and needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education and behavioral intervention plans
  • Provide direct individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to develop effective strategies for student learning and behavior
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP and 504 plan development
  • Deliver crisis intervention and promote mental health awareness throughout the school community
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
