You will be cross-trained in both manual assembly and automated machine operations, ensuring a versatile and rewarding work experience.
Responsibilities
- Load machines with material for threading.
- Fill and assemble orders based on customer specifications.
- Set up and adjust machinery and equipment according to specifications.
- Operate and monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Conduct product inspections and tests to verify machine settings, safety, and product quality.
- Communicate quality issues or machinery needing maintenance attention.
- Consistent work history.
- Reliability and comfort working in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Effective communication skills.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior machine operating experience or mechanical skills (e.g., gearhead, works on cars, use of hand tools).
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and write simple correspondence.
- Strong math skills, including the ability to easily add, multiply, and divide, and compute common fractions and decimals.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, loud, climate-controlled manufacturing environment that is fast-paced and documentation-intensive. The facility offers flexibility with 2nd shift openings, running from 3:30 pm to midnight, with occasional overtime until 1 am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palmer, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $22.00/hr.
