Job Description
Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and a minimum 1+ years BCBA experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ growth and development as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) this summer. This position involves working with a diverse Pre K-8th grade caseload during the Extended School Year (ESY) program, providing crucial behavioral and educational support in an engaging school environment.
Your expertise will make a significant impact over a short-term assignment running from July 7th through July 30th. The program is held Mondays through Thursdays, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, providing structured, focused hours and no Fridays required.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a BCBA
- Demonstrated previous experience working in a school setting
- Familiarity with educational and behavioral strategies appropriate for Pre K-8th grade students
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt to a variety of needs and classroom settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized intervention plans for students
- Provide direct and consultative behavioral support within the classroom setting
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to implement and monitor strategies
- Collect and analyze data on student progress, making recommendations for adjustments as needed
- Serve as a resource for staff professional development related to behavioral interventions
