Construction Superintendent
Water, Wastewater, and Heavy Civil Projects
Position Overview
Our Client is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations for water, wastewater, and heavy civil construction projects. This is a hands-on role responsible for managing job site execution, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily construction activities on one or multiple job sites
Coordinate crews, subcontractors, and project schedules
Manage sequencing of work and ensure project milestones are met
Monitor and enforce job site safety standards
Ensure quality control across all phases of construction
Coordinate delivery of materials and equipment
Communicate with clients, engineers, and internal teams
Track project progress and address issues in real time
Qualifications
15+ years of experience in heavy civil, water, or wastewater construction
Direct experience with treatment plant and or pump station projects
Strong field leadership experience managing crews and subcontractors
Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and job site execution
Strong communication and organizational skills
Detail oriented with a strong work ethic
