System Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to support enterprise infrastructure operations in Tallahassee, Florida. This is a Long-term Contract position focused on maintaining secure, reliable, and high-performing cloud and server environments across Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, AWS, Windows, and Linux platforms. The person in this role will partner with technical teams and end users to improve system performance, strengthen administration practices, and deliver well-documented infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee administration of Microsoft Azure Entra ID and Active Directory environments, including access management and directory support.
• Design and refine operational processes that improve the efficiency, stability, and use of Microsoft server and Azure-based resources.
• Build, implement, and maintain procedures that support effective deployment and management of AWS services and infrastructure.
• Evaluate cloud and server performance, identify bottlenecks or resource conflicts, and recommend upgrades or configuration adjustments.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation such as standards, specifications, procedures, and system support materials.
• Coordinate with data center personnel, technical teams, and users to complete deployments, upgrades, and configuration updates.
• Administer Azure infrastructure security controls and assist application owners and users with appropriate access provisioning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting Windows and Linux servers while minimizing disruption to business operations.
• Create PowerShell scripts to automate monitoring tasks and support Active Directory and Azure administration activities.
• Research infrastructure needs, recommend practical technical solutions, and suggest process improvements for the broader systems environment.
