Tube Filler Machine Operator

Title: TUBE FILLING LINE OPERATOR

Reports To: Production Supervisor

Summary:

Responsible for manufacturing of safe and quality products by following Production Work Orders, occupational and food safety policies and procedures as well as efficiencies of the line and performance of packers.

Duties:

1. Efficiently operates all machines within the line. Primary responsivities are operation of tube filling machine.

2. Follows Production Work Order instructions, provides lines with required components for change overs.

3. Assures line performance and labor efficiencies match established standards.

4. Issues components and reports production.

5. Follows food safety, occupational safety and GMP requirements.

6. Reports all machine breakdowns and malfunctions to expeditor and maintenance. Works with maintenance to facilitate and expedite repairs.

7. Cleans the line, leads changeovers, engages packers in distribution of tasks during startup of the line, changeovers, shut down and line clearance.

8. Performs in line checks for fill, package and seal integrity, completes required documentation, assures accuracy of lot and expiration date information of manufactured products.

9. Supports company’s efforts in implementation of new technologies and manufacturing processes.

10. Supports positive work environment and reports negative performance.

11. Learns and operates other machines within production during seasonal volume variations.

12. Completes other work as assigned.

Experience, Educational and Other Requirements:

• Tube filler operation experience required.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Basic English competency.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
