Medical Assistant - Clinical Research
Pay: $22-24/hour
Location: Secaucus, NJ
Hours: Open for 5/8s for first, second, and third shifts

Position Overview
The Medical Assistant will support clinical research studies by performing patient care activities, collecting biological samples, assisting with study procedures, and ensuring accurate documentation in accordance with study protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform study procedures including venipuncture, specimen collection and processing, vital signs, and safety assessments under the supervision of clinical research staff.
- Develop a strong understanding of study protocols and required procedures.
- Assist with implementation of study activities while maintaining compliance with research protocols.
- Utilize the Clinspark eSource system for study documentation and data entry.
- Support Clinical Research Coordinators with study-related tasks including labeling specimens, preparing collection materials, and maintaining source documentation.
- Record and transcribe study data accurately and timely.
- Maintain up-to-date training records and comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance throughout study activities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or equivalent).
- Phlebotomy experience with strong venipuncture skills.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical or clinical setting.
- Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
