Job Description
We are is seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Machinist to join our team. This role involves setting up and operating CNC Mills and Lathes, working with precision tools, and ensuring high-quality production standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC Mills and/or Lathes according to specifications
Plan, construct, modify, and repair a wide variety of fixtures and tooling
Work from existing CNC programs, blueprints, work orders, equipment manuals, and instructions
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to coordinate machining operations
Set up machines using hand tools, adjust controls, and input program instructions for optimal performance
Install, align, and indicate tooling; make program edits and adjustments as needed
Run test samples and monitor machine performance, making adjustments to maintain efficiency and quality
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with tolerances
Perform secondary operations such as grinding, milling, EDM, and honing as required
Maintain and properly store precision measuring and testing equipment
Clean and lubricate machinery using proper procedures and materials
Complete required documentation including parts requisitions, tool requests, and production record
Follow all quality standards, safety procedures, and company policies
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience setting up and operating CNC Mills and/or Lathes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and materials
Experience with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)
Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
