Job Summary
The Spanish Translator will be responsible for reviewing and editing documents translated from English to Spanish using AI tools. This temporary position ensures accuracy, clarity, and consistency across materials such as SOPs, PowerPoint presentations, flyers, and internal communications. The role requires maintaining the original meaning of English content while ensuring proper grammar, spelling, terminology, and sentence structure in Spanish.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and edit AI-translated documents from English to Spanish
- Validate grammar and spelling to ensure accuracy
- Ensure correct terminology and consistency across documents
- Maintain original meaning and intent of English content
- Identify and correct unclear or inaccurate translations
- Preserve formatting and readability of documents
- Assist department functions and perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma/GED
- Strong proficiency in Spanish language (reading and writing)
- Ability to review and correct AI-translated content
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and email systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in translation or editing roles
- Familiarity with corporate communication standards and SOPs
Certifications
- No specific certifications required; translation or language proficiency certifications are a plus
