Job Description
Location: Lookout Valley
Shifts Available:
4:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Mon–Thurs)
2:00 PM – 12:30 AM (Mon–Thurs)
Pay range: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
Position Summary:
The Packaging Technician I supports packaging operations by ensuring materials are available, maintaining quality standards, and performing cleaning and basic upkeep in compliance with FDA and cGMP requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply packaging materials (bottles, labels, caps) and bulk product as needed
Monitor product quality and reject non-conforming materials per FDA/cGMP standards
Document and verify proper fill levels according to product specifications
Follow SOPs, SPI guidelines, and all required procedures
Perform basic equipment upkeep and request maintenance assistance when needed
Assist with changeovers and support maintenance activities
Clean equipment and maintain sanitation standards per company procedures
Complete required documentation to confirm proper cleaning and processes
Maintain a safe work environment and report any unsafe conditions
Participate in required training to maintain FDA and cGMP compliance
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience: Minimum 1 year in a manufacturing or packaging environment preferred
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Reliable attendance and professionalism
Requirements:
Must have reliable transportation (location is not on a bus line)
Must wear steel toe shoes
Must be able to remove all jewelry and facial piercings while on the production floor
Note: Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.
Pay Details: $17.00 to $17.50 per hour
