Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding opportunity making a real difference in the lives of K-12 students as a School Psychologist serving two local sites in the Charlotte, MI area. This contract position runs from August 14th through June 4th, 2027, offering a fulfilling mix of routine and challenge for an expert focused on evaluating student needs within the school setting. Working four days each week (.9 FTE), you’ll have the chance to impact students across all grade levels without the additional responsibility of ongoing counseling or interventions.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations for K-12 students
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Detail-oriented approach to assessment and documentation
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 40 to 50 evaluations throughout the school year

Responsibilities Include:

  • Complete psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations as assigned
  • Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and parents to interpret assessment results
  • Prepare clear and thorough documentation and reports in a timely manner
  • Participate in eligibility meetings and contribute to educational planning for students
  • Travel between two local sites (all within the Charlotte, MI area)
