Packaging Technician

Adecco is currently seeking a Packaging Technician to join a local manufacturer specializing in custom plastic-fabricated equipment. This is a full-time, hands-on role in a clean manufacturing environment with opportunities to learn additional functions across quality and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and follow customer-specific packaging requirements

• Clean, bag, label, and package finished products

• Wrap and protect parts using materials such as bubble wrap

• Assemble boxes and crates for shipment

• Create and apply shipping/product labels

• Enter shipment data into computer system

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Support additional departments as needed, including quality and shipping/receiving

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Basic computer skills (Windows and Microsoft Office)

• Ability to read shop drawings and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• Ability to perform basic math calculations

• High School Diploma or GED

• 1+ yrs experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in packaging or manufacturing plastic parts

• Experience working in a clean or controlled environment is a plus

• Forklift experience is a plus (not required)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Willingness to work overtime

Pay & Schedule

• Starting Pay: $18.-21/hour + depending on experience (DOE)

• Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. + Occasional OT

Pay Details: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
