Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a school psychologist supporting K-12 students across a county-wide school district. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, 8am to 3pm, providing comprehensive psychological services to students at various educational levels. Key qualifications and experience for this role include:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with K-12 students in school settings preferred
  • Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
  • Strong skills in behavioral interventions, counseling, and crisis response
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Knowledge of relevant special education laws, IEP processes, and best practices
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school environment

Primary responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological evaluations and assessments for students referred for support services
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans
  • Deliver direct counseling and consultative services to students, staff, and families
  • Implement evidence-based interventions and monitor student progress
  • Respond to crisis situations and assist with behavioral management strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to promote student achievement and well-being
  • Support district-wide initiatives related to student mental health and educational outcomes
