Clinical - Medical Assistant

Overview

A Clinical Medical Assistant supports both the front and back office in a fast-paced, patient-focused clinical setting. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working directly with patients, helping coordinate care, and providing hands-on clinical support such as taking vitals, drawing blood, and administering vaccines. Coverage opportunities run for specific dates and recurring Tuesday shifts, giving you the chance to make an immediate impact.

Responsibilities

Support front and back office operations, including greeting and rooming patients

Schedule patient appointments and assist with day-to-day clinic coordination

Answer phones and provide support to patients and staff

Take vital signs and assist with routine clinical workflows

Draw blood (phlebotomy/venipuncture) as part of patient care support

Administer vaccines according to clinical procedures

Provide additional clinical support wherever needed

Maintain a collaborative relationship with center staff

Required Skills

Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience (in addition to an externship)

Strong patient communication skills and attention to detail

Strong computer skills

Ability to complete phlebotomy/venipuncture tasks

Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required

Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred

Additional Skills & Requirements

Occupational Health experience strongly preferred

DEA license not required

DOT certification not required

Works with children age 3 and up

Schedule: coverage needed 07/22/2026 to 07/24/2026, then every Tuesday from 07/28/2026 through 09/08/2026

Shift times: 08:00 to 17:00 on 07/22/2026, 07/23/2026, 07/28/2026; 10:00 to 14:00 on 07/24/2026; 08:00 to 17:00 on 07/28/2026; 08:00 to 17:00 on 08/04/2026, 08/11/2026, 08/18/2026, 08/25/2026; 08:00 to 17:00 on 09/01/2026 and 09/08/2026
