Physician Assistant Details

• Full time schedule, Monday through Friday
• Day shift, 8:00am to 4:00pm
• Locum tenens opportunity with the option to extend

Physician Assistant Duties

• Work as a member of the medical team providing general medicine services to patients at API
• Provide care across the lifespan, including adolescent and geriatric health needs
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure timely, effective patient care
• Document patient progress and care in Electronic Health Records (Meditech)
• Participate in on-call coverage as assigned

Physician Assistant Qualifications

• Active Alaska Physician Assistant license
• NCCPA certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Physician Assistant
• Comfortable with EMR, computerized progress notes, and computerized order entry
