Contract – 12+ months contract
Shift Timing: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm Monday-Friday
Job Title: Assembler I – Canisters
Position Summary
- The Assembler I – Canisters is responsible for supporting production operations by picking, labeling, packaging, and delivering components in accordance with manufacturing orders. This role requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and flexibility to support various production areas as business needs dictate.
Key Responsibilities
· Pick, label, and package materials accurately according to manufacturing orders and production requirements
· Deliver components and materials to designated production areas in a timely manner
· Follow work instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines
· Verify accuracy of parts, quantities, and documentation prior to delivery
· Utilize basic computer systems for order tracking and documentation
· Maintain a clean and organized work area in alignment with 5S standards
· Support production efficiency by meeting expected takt times and quality standards
· Cross-train in multiple areas and provide support where needed
· Work overtime as required to meet production demands
Qualifications
· Basic computer skills (data entry, system navigation, order lookup)
· Ability to read and follow manufacturing orders and instructions
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Good communication and teamwork skills
· Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
· Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment
· Manufacturing/production floor environment
· Exposure to typical production noise and equipment
· Required use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
