This 61-bed facility holds a Trauma Level IV designation and provides cardiovascular services in an outpatient and clinic setting. The institution maintains established clinical protocols to support cardiovascular disease management and quality patient care delivery. The facility operates without an ICU and is structured to support coordinated outpatient care.

Brattleboro, Vermont offers a range of outdoor and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. Clinicians on assignment may explore hiking trails at Retreat Trails and Hogback Mountain Conservation Area, farm experiences at Robb Family Farm and Retreat Farm, and cultural destinations including the Brattleboro Museum, the Estey Organ Museum, and the Brattleboro Words Trail. Additional activities such as ice skating, skiing, climbing Mt. Wantastiquet, and visits to Fort Dummer State Park and covered bridges complement the area's offerings year-round.

The cardiologist will provide clinic-based cardiovascular care during day shift hours with no call requirements, managing 16 patients per day. Clinical responsibilities include performing echocardiography and electrocardiograms (EKGs) as part of routine cardiovascular disease management in the outpatient setting. APRN support is available, and collaboration with the APRN is required throughout the assignment. Board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases is required for this position.
