Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a genuine impact supporting students across K-12th grades as a contract School Psychologist for the 2024-2027 school years. Work with two vibrant sites in the Charlotte, MI region, focusing your expertise on student evaluations—offering a vital service while enjoying a balanced schedule of four days per week (.9 FTE).
You’ll play a pivotal role by expertly handling 40 to 50 evaluations each year, ensuring students have the resources and individualized support they need to thrive. Your dedication and assessment skills will help shape educational planning and student success, while giving you the chance to collaborate with caring educators and school staff in a supportive environment.
Ideal candidates will bring:
- State licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations
- Familiarity with K-12 populations
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- A strong ethical foundation and the ability to manage confidential information with care
- Experience with evaluation tools and report writing in an educational setting
In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting student assessments in line with school protocols
- Preparing thorough and insightful evaluation reports
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student needs
- Attending eligibility meetings as required
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records
- Traveling between two nearby school sites
