Job Title: General Carpenter
Job Description
As a general carpenter, you will assist with the construction and refurbishment of trailer offices. Your tasks will include hanging drywall, painting, performing basic carpentry tasks, and general yard work. You'll also be responsible for cleaning and preparing trailers after they return from job sites, safely operating basic power tools, and completing daily hazard documentation.
Responsibilities
- Assist with construction and refurbishment of trailer offices.
- Hang drywall, paint, and perform basic carpentry tasks.
- Perform yard work, general cleanup, and power washing.
- Clean and prepare trailers after they are returned from job sites.
- Safely operate basic power tools.
- Complete the Field Level Hazard form daily, documenting tasks daily.
- Lifting up to 50lbs.
Essential Skills
- Previous experience using hand tools and/or power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, bend, twist, and stand on feet all day.
- Strong record of safety mindfulness.
- Comfortable working in a dirty, hot, outdoor environment.
- Comfortable adhering to safety standards and constant direction from others.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Construction experience.
- Previous experience doing drywall, carpentry, epoxy floors, remodeling, apartment unit repair.
- Forklift or heavy equipment operating experience, man lifts.

Work Environment
The work environment is outdoors and not temperature-controlled, requiring comfort in dirty and wet conditions. Training hours are from 8am to 4pm, shifting to 6am to 2pm after 2-5 weeks. Expect to work 10-hour days with potential overtime.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
