Job Title: Machine Operator

What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate CNC and sheet metal equipment
- Run Press Brake, CNC punch press, fiber laser, and PEM machines
- Read blueprints and follow work instructions to produce quality parts
- Inspect parts and measure using calipers and tape measures
- Troubleshoot minor machine or process issues
- Support packaging, assembly, and general production as needed
- Keep work area safe, clean, and organized
- Work closely with a small, team-oriented group
What We’re Looking For
- Experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment (CNC preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn
- Comfortable using measuring tools (calipers, tape measure, etc.)
- Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
- Team-oriented with strong communication
- Reliable, detail-focused, and self-motivated
Nice to Have
- Experience with Press Brake, CNC punch, or laser equipment
- Forklift experience
- Experience working in a quality or safety-driven environment
Work Environment
- Clean production / cleanroom-style setting
- Modern equipment and organized workflow
- Team of about 8–10 people with cross-training opportunities
- Standing, machine operation, and lifting up to 35 lbs required
This is a Contract position based out of Asheville, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
