Product Quality Engineer – Aerospace & Defense
Location: Rochester, NY | Pay: $50–$55/hr | Full-Time, Onsite (9/80 Schedule)

Join a leading aerospace team supporting advanced electro-optical and electronic systems. This role ensures product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across development and production.
Responsibilities- Lead AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) reviews and approvals
- Drive root cause & corrective actions (RCCA)
- Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal standards
- Conduct audits and analyze quality metrics
- Support MRB/FRB activities and resolve nonconformances
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, customers, and suppliers
- Manage supplier quality and support audits (travel as needed)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience in quality engineering (aerospace, defense, or regulated industries)
- Strong knowledge of AS9102 and corrective action processes
- Ability to read engineering drawings/specifications
- Strong communication skills; onsite availability required
- ASQ Certification (CQE, CQA)
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, APQP, MSA
- Aerospace or avionics background
