Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Two contract positions are available for skilled Special Education Teachers in an elementary school environment, supporting students alongside dedicated paraprofessionals. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Wisconsin teaching license with a Cross-Categorical endorsement is required
- Minimum of 2 years prior experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably within elementary grades
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP process, and individualized instruction techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, colleagues, and families
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet a range of learning and behavioral needs
Role Highlights:
- Deliver engaging instruction and intervention to students with diverse learning styles in a collaborative elementary school setting
- Partner with classroom paraprofessionals to enhance student support and inclusion
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
- Communicate effectively with families, service providers, and school teams regarding student progress, goals, and interventions
- Participate in data collection, progress monitoring, and ongoing assessment to inform instructional practices
- Maintain a positive, nurturing environment that fosters growth, independence, and access to learning opportunities
Schedule & Support:
- Standard school day hours from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Both available positions are based in the same elementary school and have classroom para support
