Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this role, you will provide in-class assistance, resource room support, and one-on-one guidance, ensuring that students receive the encouragement and help they need throughout their lessons. Key Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in a special education setting is highly valued
- Ability to provide individualized, compassionate support to children and youth
- Willingness to collaborate with teachers and behavior teams
- Effective communication skills
- Commitment to school policies and SD state onboarding requirements, including introductory training and completion of fingerprinting if necessary
Responsibilities:
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment within classrooms and resource rooms
- Deliver individualized and small-group instruction as directed by the supervising teacher
- Support students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
- Assist with lesson implementation and encourage student engagement
- Maintain clear communication with staff and document daily progress
