Title: Pathology Assistant

- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

- Perform complete dissection, gross description, selection, and submission of tissue for microscopic examination and special studies including flow cytometry and immunohistochemical staining. \t
- Work closely with pathologists and carry out duties under the direction of the Pathologist. \t
- Maintain high ethical standards and integrity in performance of assigned duties. \t
- Photograph gross and microscopic specimens. \t
- Assist in preparation of educational conferences and provide training to pathology personnel, pathology residents, and medical students. \t
- Serve as liaison to other departments and laboratories to ensure quality healthcare services. \t
- Maintain pathology protocols, procedures, reports, and data.
Education

- Associate Degree in Biological, Chemical, or related Laboratory Science
\t OR \t - Bachelor of Science Degree
Experience
