Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring Epic Stork experience and night shift availability.

Details\n

\n
• Labor & Delivery unit within a 431-bed, short-term acute care hospital designated as a Level II Trauma Center
\n
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
\n
• Patient ratio of 1:2 with an average daily census of 5 deliveries
\n
• Every other weekend required
\n
• No on-call responsibilities
\n
• Floating required to MBU or NICU within scope to meet facility needs
\n
• Charting performed in Epic (Epic Stork specifically)
\n
• Specialized equipment includes Triton for quantitative blood loss (AI technology), Surgicount, and Monica Novii
\n
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active VA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
\n
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
\n
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Rate Monitoring or Relias Fetal Heart Rate certification required (facility can provide access to complete FHR training prior to assignment start)
\n
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
\n
• Epic Stork experience required
\n
• Fetal heart monitoring (FHM) experience and circulating skills required
\n
• Scrub and OB assist skills preferred
\n
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
\n
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
\n
