Join Our Dynamic Ambulatory Infusion Team!\n\nJob Description:\n\n- Start Date: ASAP \n- Experience Required: 1 year of Outpatient Infusion \n- Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (08:00 - 18:00) \n- Patient Ratios: 1:15 \n- Daily Census: 32 patients \n- Rooms: 3 \n- Beds: 6 \n- Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics \n- Weekend Requirement: Potential for weekend coverage \n- Charting System: Epic \n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing: \n- Mastering the art of IV Therapy and Infusions \n- Accessing and managing ports with finesse \n- Administering blood and blood products, including coagulation factors \n- Utilizing antifungals and antivirals effectively \n- Providing care and management of ports and Central Lines \n- Performing Central line blood draws and PICC line care \n- Operating infusion pumps for optimal patient care \n- Administering vital intravenous hydration and multivitamins \n- Starting and maintaining IVs with confidence \n- Managing a variety of medications, including antibiotics \n\nInterdisciplinary Support: \n- Collaborate with IV Teams, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretaries \n\nPatient Diagnoses: \n- Autoimmune Diseases \n- Infectious Diseases \n- Iron Deficiency \n- Oncologic Conditions \n- Hematologic Issues \n- Obstetric Care \n- And more! \n\nSpecial Procedures/Unit Details: \n- Focus on Oncology support (non-chemotherapy) \n- Administration of Biologic/Immunotherapy medications, antibiotics, antifungals, iron infusions, hydration, and supportive medications \n- Opportunity to care for pediatric patients and provide line care \n\nYour Qualifications: \n- Licensure: Current CA state license \n- Certifications: BLS preferred \n- Skills: PICC placement experience or vascular access certification preferred but not required \n\nJoin our team and make a difference in patient care every day!\n\nWhy Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): \nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
