Travel Nurse RN - Stepdown

Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Omaha, Nebraska.

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiovascular Unit (CVU)

Schedule:
• 12-Hour Night Shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
 

Key Responsibilities:
• Care for intermediate cardiac and vascular patients
• Monitor and manage post-cardiac surgery patients
• Titrate cardiac and blood pressure drips
• Interpret telemetry strips and monitor cardiac rhythms
• Collaborate with cardiology, hospitalists, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide care for CHF, CVA, A-fib RVR, cath lab, EP, thoracic, and structural heart patients

Required Experience:
• Minimum 1 year of recent CVU, Cardiac Stepdown, PCU, Telemetry, or similar cardiac patient population experience
• Experience titrating vasoactive and cardiac drips
• Strong telemetry interpretation skills

Required Certifications:
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS

 

Additional Details:
• Travelers must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates cannot currently be employed (FT, PT, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility
• Driver's License required with submission
