HealthTrust Workforce Solution External is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Longview, Texas.

**Must have two years of ED experience/current role needs to be ED, free standing ER, ER code, ER urgent care, etc.**
\nSummary:
\nThe competent Nurse, in the same or similar clinical setting, practices independently and demonstrates an awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation.
\n Provides routine and complex care, with the ability to on long-range goals or plans.
\n Continues to develop the ability to cope with and manage contingencies of clinical nursing.
\n Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers as a means to help manage the clinical situation.
Responsibilities:

- Consistent with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment,
\n diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients. \n - Addresses increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patient and families in accordance with their level of practice. \n
- Using the appropriate protocol, administers medications and treatments; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness of the treatment prescribed. \n
- Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given. \n
- Assess learning needs and provides education to patients, family members and/or care givers; identify issues and resources. \n
Job Requirements:

- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred \n
Experience
\n- \n
- 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred \n
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
\n- \n
- Current BLS certification required (AHA only) \n
- Current ACLS certification required (AHA only) \n
- Current PALS certification required (AHA only) \n
- Current TNCC certification required \n
- RN License in state of TX or compact \n
