Extensive Floating & Unit Details\n

\n
• Primary Assignment: Multiple ICUs including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac / Heart & Vascular, Neurology, Medicine, and COVID.\n
  \n
  • ICU Ratio: 2:1 for all shifts.
  \n
\n
• Secondary Floating: If ICU census is low, RNs will be expected to float to inpatient floors as a staff nurse (Oncology, Neurology, Med/Surg, Medicine, Trauma, Heart & Vascular, and COVID).\n
  \n
  • Inpatient Floor Ratio: Maximum of 1:3.
  \n
\n
• Additional Duties: May float to non-critical care units or be utilized as a patient sitter if needed. Strong, independent nurses are strictly required.
\n

Required Qualifications\n

\n
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years ICU experience required. No first-time travelers accepted. (See important note below regarding CVICU experience).
\n
• Certifications: * BCLS (AHA)\n
  \n
  • ACLS (AHA)
  \n
  • NIHSS
  \n
  • Preferred: Chemo, CCRN, ONS, TNCC, CPI
  \n
\n
• Required Skills: Vents, IV starts, Telemetry, and Conscious Sedation.
\n
• Preferred Skills: Level 1 Trauma experience, Triage, ICP, and PA lines.\n
  \n
  • Preferred Cardiac Skill Set: Swans (hemodynamic interpretation), IABP, Impella, ECMO, Vasoactive drips, and CRRT.
  \n
