Job Description:
CT/XR Technologist for a 10-bed Free Standing Emergency Department (FSED) in Portage, IN. The technologist will have an XR tech to work with until 11 PM, but will work independently from 11 PM to 7 AM. Responsibilities include covering the Inpatient Rehab Unit and Regency unit for XR/CT, although these units have a low volume of imaging requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and XR imaging independently at designated times.
- Collaborate with other units like Inpatient Rehab and Regency for imaging needs.
Requirements:
- Current AART (R)(CT) certification.
- BLS certification required.
- 1-2 years of experience in CT and XR proficiency required.
- Proficiency with GE CT Scanner, Philips XR, Vitrea, Merge PACS, MedRad contrast injector.
- EMR: Cerner preferred.
