Key Personnel is seeking a Paralegal for a law firm in the Oklahoma City, OK area.
Paralegal Pay: $70,000+ DOE
Paralegal Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Paralegal Responsibilities:
• Conduct legal, factual, and investigative research related to litigation matters
• Research individuals, companies, assets, and other relevant information to support case strategy
• Prepare research summaries and memoranda for attorney review
• Conduct witness interviews and prepare witness statements
• Research expert witnesses, prior testimony, and litigation history
• Draft and prepare Requests for Admissions, Interrogatories, Requests for Production, and related discovery responses
• Prepare subpoenas and requests for records from third parties and financial institutions
• Assist clients with gathering, organizing, and producing documents and information for litigation matters
• Review documents for privilege and prepare privilege logs
• Coordinate and manage document productions from clients and opposing counsel
• Maintain and organize physical and electronic document management systems
• Process, index, code, and manage litigation documents using document management software
• Schedule depositions and prepare deposition exhibits, witness books, and supporting materials
• Process deposition transcripts and prepare deposition summaries
• Draft pleadings, motions, proposed orders, and other legal documents under attorney supervision
• Assist with hearing, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation
• Prepare exhibit lists, witness lists, trial notebooks, exhibit notebooks, and demonstrative exhibits
• Coordinate exhibits, witnesses, and trial logistics with opposing counsel, court personnel, and clients
• Track exhibits during hearings and trials and assist with electronic presentation of evidence
• Assist with fee applications, expense documentation, and appellate file preparation

• Assist with formation of corporate entities and preparation of organizational documents
• Support commercial real estate transactions, including leases, amendments, acquisitions, and related documentation
• Assist with due diligence review and post-closing documentation
• Order and review UCC searches and other business filings
• Assist with mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance matters, debt and equity financing transactions, and other business transactions
• Conduct research related to transactional matters and prepare summaries for attorneys
• Gather and organize due diligence materials and client documentation
• Serve as a liaison between attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, and third-party vendors
• Assist with formation of corporate entities and preparation of organizational documents
• Support commercial real estate transactions, including leases, amendments, acquisitions, and related documentation
• Assist with due diligence review and post-closing documentation
• Order and review UCC searches and other business filings
• Assist with mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance matters, debt and equity financing transactions, and other business transactions
• Conduct research related to transactional matters and prepare summaries for attorneys
• Gather and organize due diligence materials and client documentation
• Serve as a liaison between attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, and third-party vendors
Paralegal Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience in both litigation and transactional law required
• Strong knowledge of legal procedures, court filings, discovery processes, and document management practices
• Experience drafting legal documents, pleadings, correspondence, and transactional documents
• Proficiency with legal research tools, document management systems, and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and vendors
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work product
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Ability to manage high-volume workloads and meet critical deadlines
• Strong knowledge of legal procedures, court filings, discovery processes, and document management practices
• Experience drafting legal documents, pleadings, correspondence, and transactional documents
• Proficiency with legal research tools, document management systems, and Microsoft Office applications
